Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your country of residence, you should only use the Game with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable Use

The Game includes World Chat and a formattable profile status message. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or abuse other players;
• post spam, illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• attempt to exploit bugs, cheat, automate play, or disrupt the Game's servers;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate this section, at our discretion.

4. User-Generated Content

Anything you post (chat messages, status messages, display name) remains yours, but you grant us the right to store, display, and moderate it as part of operating the Game. World Chat messages are not stored server-side beyond the live session — they exist only as a real-time broadcast to other connected players.

5. Virtual Items

Gold, Food, Roc Feathers, gear, and every other in-game item exist only within the Game, have no real-world monetary value, and cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred for real money. The Game currently has no real-money purchase path. If that ever changes, these Terms will be updated first and you'll be notified before any such feature goes live.

6. Third-Party Attribution

Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License. Some icons and sprites are used under Creative Commons licenses from their respective creators.

7. No Warranty

Horizon Era is an early-stage, actively-developed project provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and game data (including your progress) may occasionally be lost due to bugs or maintenance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Game.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or for operational reasons (e.g. discontinuing the Game).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Game changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Game after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
