What It's For

Wear them in the Boots slot to walk faster. They wear down as you walk — about 25 km per pair (Leatherworking makes them wear 25% / 50% slower) — and can't be repaired. You can only put Boots on or take them off inside your Country Manor — but when a pair wears out, the next pair in your Bag goes on by itself.
