Dead Metal

Horizon Era's third Special Metal, and its first Minion — a dull gold ingot that calls the undead back from beyond.

Weight: 0.1kg

Where to Get It

Crafted from 1 Lichen + 3 Dark Essence + 3 Iron (requires Metallurgy Level 3). Lichen is a rare ground pickup; Dark Essence drops in the Grove dungeon.

What It's For

Infuse 3 bars at a Manor's Workshop. In a Weapon: your first killing blow summons a Skeleton that fights alongside you; further killing blows level it up (+1, up to +6) or, once it's maxed, summon another (up to 5 total). In Armor or a Sub-weapon: when you die, a Lich version of you usually rises with a copy of your weapon and armor, fights at your side and heals itself like eating a Mourning Berry, then crumbles after 1 day (one at a time — dying again replaces it).
