What It's For

Keep them in your Bag (they aren't worn). Tap a Flag, Buoy, Cave, Troll Hut or Trade Post you can see and choose Mark with Explorer Boots: it shows in your Estates list for 26 hours, and you can go back to it as many times as you like, paying that place's usual Visit cost. One mark at a time — a new mark replaces the old one. Places already in your Estates list (your Roc Shrines and Guard Towers, the Trade Hubs) can't be marked. A pair is good for 100 marks.
