Gold, Food & Resources

What each currency is for (including Platinum), and how Bag capacity and Backpacks work.

Gold

The main currency — earned by selling/dumping items, selling at a Trade Post, or looted from monsters. Spent on crafting, gear upgrades, Blacksmithing repairs, buying Roc Feathers, and Backpack upgrades.

Food

A separate scalar from Gold, not a Bag item. Used for Level Up (80), Forge Gem (80), buying things at a Trade Post or the Kingdom Armory event shop, and a Kingdom's Brick Furnace. Topped up by a 240-Food daily Mail gift, and can also be bought in Menu → Shop.

  • Daily Food gift: 240 Food by Mail once a day, from Level 5, after you've earned 100 Pages that day. It resets at midnight, Malaysia time.
  • Your first 5 days: the gift is 240 Starter Food instead, with no Level needed (still 100 Pages that day). Starter Food only pays for Level Ups.
  • Food on a new account can't be listed or used to buy Food-priced listings at a Trade Post for its first 7 days.

Platinum & Platinum Membership

Platinum is a second currency that comes from Platinum Membership — an optional monthly subscription in Menu → Shop, in three tiers. You hold one tier at a time: upgrade whenever you like (you pay only the difference for the rest of the month) or switch down at your next renewal, and higher tiers also get the lower tiers' monthly sets. Each tier gives a one-time welcome bonus, daily Platinum (missed days are paid on your next login), bonus daily Food in Mail, and that month's cosmetic set: an exclusive Hat with its own glow (Settings → Animated cosmetic effects turns off the pulsing and sparkles), a Flag/Buoy pennant and a Profile theme, all kept forever. Every month brings a new set and past sets are never sold again; you can switch between every set you own in Flag Settings and your Profile's More menu.

  • Spend Platinum on Reforge at the Workshop — swap a Metal (200 Platinum + 3 new bars, 2 old bars back) or a Gem (100 Platinum) already infused into your gear.
  • Members can craft Mining, Chopping and Crafting Gloves (1-second mining, chopping, or crafting/smelting); anyone can use a pair. Each pair is 100% and every use takes 1%. Pairs of the same kind stack in your Bag — five pairs are one 500% stack you wear as one — and a Quick Slot set to a kind of glove keeps working for the whole stack. Gloves can't be changed while a Chop, Mine, Craft or Smelt is running.
  • Members also pay 10 Refined Oil for a dungeon Torch instead of 20, and get double Monster Tokens from monsters they kill themselves (a minion's or a Cleave/Fatality/Ricochet splash kill drops one). Reset Skills costs them 250 Food instead of 500, and they can line up 10 tasks instead of 5.
  • Cancel any time from the Shop; benefits last until the end of the month you paid for.

Roc Feathers

Fast-travel currency — see Getting Around for how to earn and spend them.

City Coins & Bricks

Two separate territory-scoped currencies — City Coins are earned per-City (see City System) and decide the weekly Mayor; Bricks are earned per-Kingdom (see Kingdom System) and fund Kingdom structures. Neither is directly tradeable for Gold.

Your Bag

  • Every item has a weight, and your Bag has a carry-weight cap shown as a bar in the bottom HUD.
  • Base capacity is small — each Backpack you own (craftable, or upgradeable for Gold) adds more, and a higher-tier Backpack adds even more.
  • Same-tier Backpacks display-group into one row, but each is still tracked separately underneath.
