Playing With Others

Friends and Enemies, Mail, Visiting other players, World Chat, and Rankings.

Friends and Enemies

Send a Friend request from any player's profile — mutual accept required. Menu → Friends lists your friends (online first, with when the others were last seen); tap a name for their Profile, or ⋯ for Message, Send Gold or Invite to Hunting Party. Enemy status happens automatically after a hostile action (like attacking someone's Flag) and can be lifted with a mutual Make Peace. Becoming Enemies cancels any Right of Passage between the two of you, both ways — after making peace it has to be requested again.

Mail

Your Mail inbox is also how claimable rewards (daily Food, event prizes, Weekly Trophy Hats) are delivered. Start a new conversation from a player's profile's Message button, or by Replying.

  • Tap a player's name at the top of a conversation (or on a message from them) to open their Profile.
  • The ☆ beside a conversation keeps it at the top of your Mail (on this device).
  • Select lets you tick several messages and delete them at once. Rewards you haven't claimed are never deleted, and purchase receipts stay for 7 days.

Hunting Parties

Invite to Hunting Party from any player's profile, from their name in chat or from your Friends list (one invite per player, by Mail, with an optional message of up to 120 characters — Invite Here takes one too). Accepting (within 15 minutes, costs Roc Feathers by distance) takes you to the host — inside their Manor too — and from then on you follow them: every time the host Jumps, Visits or enters a building, the whole party comes along for free, even while you're offline. A party has no size limit.

  • Outdoors, everyone who hits a monster shares its Gold and Pages by damage dealt, party or not, and a group earns up to 200% more Gold (see Combat).
  • Invites (come to my location, my Kingdom) go in the Travel chat channel only. A location invite card shows the Roc Feathers it would cost you, and a Hunting Party invite shows the cost on its Join button.
  • The host can only Jump or Visit once everyone in the party is out of combat. A follower still in combat waits outside when the host enters a building.
  • Dungeons: the party goes in on the host's torch. Only the host pays, there's still one set of monsters, the weekly lockout is only the host's, and the party's loot and boss drop go straight into the host's Bag. Followers go to whichever room the host enters and move freely inside it, and leave when the host leaves. Monster EXP and Gold are still shared by damage; the completion reward is the host's. (Not the Dojo.)
  • Followers don't follow into a Castle or Kingdom Warehouse of a Kingdom they don't belong to — they wait outside and stay in the party.
  • A party shares its Enemies: if anyone in it becomes an Enemy of a player (attacking their Flag, Make Enemy…), everyone in the party does, and Right of Passage between them is lost.
  • Jumping, Visiting or entering a building on your own takes you out of the party. Your own Jumps still need Right of Passage as usual.
  • Tap the party line under your HP bar to see the party: the host can remove a follower, a follower can leave. Either way you stay where you are.
  • Accepting another invite moves you to that party; a host who joins someone else's party ends their own.
  • New monsters around a follower appear at the higher level of the follower's and the host's (see Combat).

World Chat

Tap the chat strip at the top to open it: on a phone it opens as a sheet above your HUD, on a computer as a panel at the bottom-left that never covers the HUD. Channels: Global (everyone), Trade (buying and selling, everyone), Help (questions, everyone), Travel (invites only, everyone), Area (the players you can see: nearby outdoors, or everyone in the same room indoors — a Manor floor, a Trade Post, a dungeon room…), City (your City; players without a City share one City channel) and Kingdom (if you've joined one). Inside a Tavern, Area is the Tavern Chat. Area messages also pop up in a bubble over the speaker's head. Each channel has its own colour and letter tag.

  • The tabs down the left are All plus one per channel (Global, Area — called Tavern while you're in one — City, Kingdom, Trade, Help) and System at the bottom. You write in a channel's own tab and it goes to that channel; All and System only read (tap the line at the bottom of All to jump to the channel you last wrote in). The bell in a channel's top bar mutes it: it leaves All and stops lighting a red dot, and its own tab still shows it. Settings "Show chat times" puts the time in front of each line. A red dot marks a tab with new messages; a message read on any tab counts as read everywhere.
  • System shows only to you: the items, Gold, EXP and Roc Feathers you get, and your notices.
  • On a computer, the pin button in the chat's top bar keeps the chat open when you tap the world.
  • Tap a name in chat for View Profile, Message, Send Gold, Invite to Hunting Party, Report or Block.
  • Tap "x online" to see everyone online now, with their Profile and the same actions.
  • Players who haven't played for 7 days are no longer drawn on the map.
  • Tap "+" to post a card instead of plain text: an item from your Bag, a buy/sell post (Trade channel, one a minute, ends after 24 hours), an invite to your location, or an invite to your Kingdom. You can also use Share on a Bag item, or Link in chat / Sell post / Buy post in an item's Info.
  • Cards only advertise. To trade, drop the item for the buyer or use a Trade Post (safer). A sell post shows "No longer available" once the item leaves the seller's Bag, and the seller can Close it.
  • "Come to my location" cards work like a Location Invite open to everyone in the channel: tap Accept to travel there for Roc Feathers by distance, until it expires.

Trade Post

List a Bag item for Gold or Food at a City's Trade Post, pricing it per unit — a 5% tax applies on sale (more at a Trade Hub), and you can cancel a listing for free within the first hour. Listings don't show who the seller is. When something sells, the buyer's purchase note lands in your Mail as a conversation you can reply to, and anything still unsold after 14 days comes back to you automatically. While you list, the Sell form shows what that exact item has sold for per unit over the last 30 days and the cheapest one listed now, with a suggested price once there are a few sales from different buyers.

Some things can't be traded: Weekly Trophy Hats (including the King Score Hat), Platinum Membership rewards and Research Points can't be listed, dropped on the ground or put in a Kingdom Warehouse (your own Manor storage is fine). Crystal and Bricks can't be listed at a Trade Post; Crystal can still be dropped for another player to pick up.

You can also sell part of your Food (for Gold) or your Platinum (for Gold or Food) from the Sell tab's "Sell Food or Platinum" section. Buyers can take part of a listing at the same rate. Food or Platinum bought with real money can't be sold for 24 hours, and trading them for real money outside the game is not allowed.

Rankings

Menu > Rankings shows the server's Top Gold, Top Flags, and Top Level standings, plus Weekly Trophy Hats — nine cosmetic Hat races (most trees tended, most Pages earned, most Food spent, top City by City Coins, most Monsters killed, most Crude Oil produced or raided, most items crafted via Weapon Smithing, most Dungeons completed, and most Gold earned selling at a Trade Post) that reset every Monday at midnight, Malaysia time.

The Kingdoms tab shows the Kingdom Influence Ranking — a live, permanent standing (it never resets) based on each Kingdom's own Flags, Towers, and Obelisks. Every Monday at reset, whichever Kingdom is #1 gets a small crown on its Emblem (gone the moment a different Kingdom takes over), and its Ruler earns the King Score Hat — like every other Weekly Trophy Hat, a Hat you've won before but no longer currently hold shows grayed-out until you win it back.
